In this process, personal data (e.g. IP address, device and interaction data) may be transmitted to Google and processed&nbsp;<strong>on behalf of the data controller<\/strong>. Data processing in the app &#8220;PawsUnited Go!&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protection of your data and transparency are also paramount in the PawsUnited Go! app. The app has been developed to ensure you retain full control over your information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Exclusively Local Storage:<\/strong>&nbsp;All data you enter into the app, such as your dog&#8217;s profiles or personal notes, is stored&nbsp;<strong>exclusively locally on your device<\/strong>. This personal data is not transferred to or synchronized with any server or cloud service. You retain sole control over your entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Provision of App Content:<\/strong>&nbsp;To provide the app with up-to-date content like articles, images, or information, \u201cPawsUnited Go!\u201d connects to the server that also hosts this website (pawsunited.ch). During this process,&nbsp;<strong>no personal data is transmitted from your device to the server<\/strong>. The connection is solely for retrieving content, similar to visiting a webpage. No data is shared with third parties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No Analytics or Tracking:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cPawsUnited Go!\u201d completely refrains from using third-party analytics tools or tracking mechanisms. Your usage of the app is not monitored or evaluated. The only exception is&nbsp;<strong>anonymized diagnostic data from Apple<\/strong>: If you have consented in your iOS settings to the general sharing of diagnostic &#038; usage data with app developers, I may receive anonymized crash reports and aggregated usage statistics provided by Apple. This data is not personally identifiable and is used exclusively to improve the app&#8217;s stability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>App Permissions:<\/strong>&nbsp;The app only requests permissions when they are necessary for a feature you are actively using. Examples include access to your photos to add a profile picture for your dog, or permission to send you a notification for a reminder. These permissions are voluntary and can be managed and revoked by you at any time in your device&#8217;s iOS settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"jot-diary\">14. Data Processing in the \u201cJot Diary\u201d App<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jot Diary was developed with the principle of maximum privacy (&#8220;Privacy by Design&#8221;). The app is designed to be your personal, local, and secure companion. The following applies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Local Storage &#038; iCloud Synchronization:<\/strong>&nbsp;All your journal entries, mood data, and added photos are stored exclusively on your device. To synchronize your data between your devices (e.g., iPhone and iPad) or to create a backup, Jot Diary uses Apple&#8217;s iCloud service. This synchronization is end-to-end encrypted and occurs directly between your device and your personal iCloud account. As the developer, I have&nbsp;<strong>no access at any time<\/strong>&nbsp;to the content stored in the app or in your iCloud. You are responsible for managing your iCloud data in your device settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No Data Collection by the Developer:<\/strong>&nbsp;Jot Diary does not collect, transmit, or analyze any personal data or usage information and contains no third-party tracking tools. The only exception is the&nbsp;<strong>anonymized diagnostic data from Apple<\/strong>, as described in section 13 above, which may be used to improve app stability if you have consented to its transmission in your iOS settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No External Communication:<\/strong>&nbsp;The app does not establish a connection to external servers to send data or load content. The only network activity is the Apple-managed iCloud synchronization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>App Permissions:<\/strong>&nbsp;Any permissions requested by the app (e.g., access to the photo library or permission for notifications) are used exclusively for the app&#8217;s core functionality (e.g., adding a photo to an entry or setting up a reminder).
