In the <strong>&#8220;Color and Color Systems&#8221;<\/strong> module at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ofg-studium.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">OfG \/ Online School for Design<\/a>, I was able to delve deeper into this silent yet powerful language. The assignment was a few months ago and was one of the first modules of my studies\u2014an early step on a path for which I am very grateful. To me, it is a gift to be able to learn and create, making the most of the opportunities entrusted to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"die-aufgabe-vier-stimmungen-aus-papier\">The Assignment: Four Moods from Paper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The task was intentionally analog: cut out color snippets from magazines and create four mood boards. A small challenge was that I hardly own any magazines\u2014so improvisation was required. The individual color fields needed to be neatly aligned, without crooked edges, overlaps, or small imperfections. This was entirely new for me and took significantly more time than I had anticipated. For client projects, I naturally rely on common standards, but during my studies and for personal exercises, I like to try out different solutions. This broadens my perspective and keeps me flexible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"was-ich-aus-der-ruckmeldung-gelernt-habe\">What I Learned from the Feedback<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The feedback from the OfG helped me see my work from a new perspective. Overall, I was able to capture the moods well, but in some areas, I realized how much potential lies in the pure effect of color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"liebe\">Love<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>My mood board did display various facets of the emotion, but it was embedded in a rather cool setting. Additionally, it became clear that I relied too heavily on the heart shape. I learned to observe more closely, to be bolder in simplifying, and to rely more on the effect of color harmonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am grateful for every step of this learning process.
