At the same time, I rarely read magazines myself\u2014except perhaps in the doctor&#8217;s waiting room \ud83d\ude09. Mostly technology or occasionally dog magazines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Precisely for this reason, this task was not self-evident. I had to consciously engage with a visual world that I know but do not regularly consume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"warum-shift\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why &#8220;Shift&#8221;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The choice fell on &#8220;Shift&#8221; because I was intrigued by the contrast: technology is precise, structured, and often objective, whereas design can experiment, be emotional, and surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I wanted to portray technology not as cold, but as lively and vibrant. The logo was provided by OfG as a black-and-white version. Although there was the opportunity to develop my own, I consciously chose to work with the existing symbol and reinterpret it in color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Orange, cyan, light green, and magenta represent energy, digital dynamism, and diversity. Technology isn&#8217;t an end in itself\u2014it accompanies real-life situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lina is intentionally in the foreground, covering part of the title. This small detail creates a magazine-typical depth effect: the motif doesn&#8217;t appear &#8220;pasted on&#8221; but integrated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The title is placed at the top left, where it remains visible on a magazine shelf. A luminous trail connects stylized app symbols\u2014paw, bone, and heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Form and color here represent activity and connectivity. The layout is guided by the grid logic of a smartphone screen. A large &#8220;A&#8221; for &#8220;Apps&#8221; forms the focal point. It was only through feedback that I realized how crucial the conscious decision behind every placement is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"technik-hund-und-gestaltung\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technology, Dog, and Design \u2013 My Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back, I see this module not just as an editorial exercise but as an expression of my own intersection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dog World \u2022 Technology \u2022 Design<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The photographic cover concretely connects these areas. It not only showcases an app but also a mindset: technology is meaningful when it supports relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, this module has sharpened my eye for composition. I have learned how crucial visual hierarchy is\u2014and how quickly design can falter when too many elements vie for attention at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, design means making connections visible. Yet, each connection needs a clear focal point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"ausblick\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outlook<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the next post, I&#8217;ll focus on the module of <strong>logo design<\/strong>\u2014a subject I found significantly more challenging than the previous tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developing a logo involves distilling complex content to its essence.
