General Terms and Conditions (T&C)

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, projects, consultations and other agreements between Monika Baer | PawsUnited (hereinafter referred to as “PawsUnited“) and its clients.

They apply regardless of whether the services are of a creative, conceptual, photographic, advisory or animal-related nature.

Any deviations from these Terms and Conditions require written confirmation.

2. Services and Conclusion of Contract

A contract is concluded through:

• a written or verbal agreement
• acceptance of an offer
• the scheduling of an appointment (e.g. consultation, training session, photoshoot)

The specific scope of services results from the respective offer or individual agreement.

PawsUnited works on a project-based and context-based basis. The scope, duration and objectives of the collaboration are defined individually.

3. Fees and Payment Terms

Fees are based on the respective agreed offer.

Unless otherwise agreed:

• invoices are payable within 30 days without deduction
• for larger projects, partial payments or advance payments may be required
• usage rights for design or photographic work are transferred to the client only after full payment has been received

4. Appointments, Cancellations and Rescheduling

Agreed appointments are binding.

Appointments may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.

In the event of a later cancellation or failure to attend, the agreed fee may be charged in full or in part.

If an appointment cannot take place due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative appointment will be arranged.

5. Usage Rights (Design, Photography, Content)

Unless otherwise agreed:

• copyrights for designs, photographs and concepts remain with PawsUnited
• clients receive usage rights within the agreed scope

Any transfer to third parties or use beyond the agreed purpose requires prior consent.

PawsUnited may use created work for self-promotion and documentation purposes.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client must provide all information, materials and content required for the collaboration in a timely manner.

The client confirms that any materials provided are free from third-party rights.

The client is responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from missing or late contributions.

7. Liability

PawsUnited is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

No liability is assumed for decisions or actions taken by the client based on consultations or recommendations.

8. Special Provisions for Work with Dogs

For training, consultation or care services involving dogs, the dog owner confirms:

• that the dog is healthy and free of contagious diseases
• that valid liability insurance is in place

The dog owner is liable for any damage caused by their dog.

9. Data Protection

Personal data will only be used for the purpose of carrying out the collaboration.

10. Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
